WorldFood Moscow 2013 announcement

By Stanislav Grafski

The 22nd annual international WorldFood Moscow (WFM) trade show will welcome its visitors in Russia on September 16-19, 2013.  This Russia’s largest international food and drink event is to be co-located with other events, including The Russian Food Forum. The 2012 edition demonstrated the highest-ever international representation from 69 countries and the attendance figure at 48,458.

There are at least 4 reasons to consider visiting this event:

1. Russia is the largest and fastest growing market in Europe.  The Russian consumer market of over 143 million people accounts to half of the country’s GDP with great prospects to grow further.  Any serious international player in food and drink industry should keep this national market on its radar due to its volume, growth trends, and relatively easy-to-enter procedures.

2. WFM arranges for a rare opportunity when the entire national market comes to you with laser-focused local wholesalers, distributors, retailers, restaurateurs, and other businesses from all around the country.

3. Due to its calibre, stream of attendees, and the co-located events programme, WFM secures an opportunity for any international business – not necessarily of food and drink industry – to get acquainted with local market realities, meet and communicate with other international players established on the market to-date, and get first hand information about and generate contacts among local business community.

4. Overall, ROI levels in Russia are higher than in vast majority of other national markets. No wonder the Russian economy is among the top 3 most profitable markets in the world. Why not checking it personally during this four-day event in Moscow?
